San Francisco Bay Area AAPI Leadership and Mentorship Program

About the Program

This 18-month program will recruit, train, and mentor emerging AAPl leaders to prepare for the 2026 elections and the 2028 cycle and beyond. Through intensive training, mentorship, and alumni support, APALF aims to foster a lasting AAPI leadership movement in the Bay Area.

Program Goals

• Recruit, train, and mentor 12-18 emerging AAPI leaders over 18 months.

• Create a self-sustaining pipeline of AAPI candidates, civic leaders, community organizers
and public service minded citizens.

• Build a long-term infrastructure that strengthens civic capacity and sustains AAPI leadership
responsive to the community.
